Acer or AOC Monitor?

I'm debating on whether I should get this AOC monitor: http://goo.gl/iEbJx2
Or this Acer Monitor: http://goo.gl/uUPjS1

The acer is only $10 more expensive after a discount. The acer is is also 23" and has an HDMI Port, but it doesn't have reviews as good as the AOC.I had never even heard of AOC before this and am wondering if it is a brand that could even be trusted. Thanks.

Acer aren't particularly big in monitors.
Asus, BenQ and Dell are bigger players and offer many quality monitors (and some rubbish monitors).

These monitors are both IPS panels, which is good for viewing angles and image quality.
Both are 1920 x 1080 resolution.
Neither has built in speakers, so HDMI has no advantage over DVI. If you only have a HDMI output, you can just use a HDMI to DVI cable.

I suggest you read detailed reviews for both monitors.
User reviews are not a good place to start. These are often skewed towards the one person that had a bad experience.
You want detailed information on image quality.
