I just bought an Acer Predator G3 and a new Samsung UHD Monitor .
However, I have problem connecting the Acer Predator G3 to the UHD Monitor.

I used HDMI Cable to try and even DP cable but nothing seems to appear on the UHD monitor.

I tried using my laptop to connect HDMI cable to the UHD monitor and it works .

I then tried connecting the Acer Predator G3 to a normal monitor using VGA port and it works.

I tried connecting the Acer Predator G3 to my TV via HDMI it doesn't work , but my laptop can work.

Please advice on what should I do

SOLVED .

If I'm not mistaken, the Acer Predator has a monitor output on the motherboard as well as on a dedicated graphics card. You have to attached your monitor to the connector on the graphics card instead to these on the motherboard. The motherboard connectors are aligned vertical while the connectors on the dedicated graphics card are aligned horizontally - and there shouldn't be any plastic cover on those connectors.
