Good day everyone. So I was looking around and I've seen that I wanted more ram. So I bought new ram and inserted it into the slots for my mobo. Thing is, It does not register..
So I started to look for analyze tools and found CPU - Z. CPU - Z shows the correct amount of memory on my motherboard so I'm asuming I plugged the ram in corretly. Windows won't use more ram then it's already displaying for some odd reason. Another thing I noticed is that after installing the sticks and booting my PC it won't install on screen, It'll simply pass me on to my log in for Windows and then It does not show up in Windows Settings..
What am I doing wrong!?
Here are some infos about my rig:
ACCESS
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: THE NEWLY INSTALLED RAM STICKS ARE SLOT 2 andSLOT 4. (IN CPU - Z)
I hope someone can help me fix this problem since I'd really like to use my RAM after all
What I have done..
I've removed the old stock ram and inserted just the new one. Without a RAM installation screen popping up it says I now have 8 gb Ram. When I add the other old ram sticks of each 4gb it says I still have 8gb ram.
Addtionaly: I have tired msconfig and disabling and enabling the tick for maximum memory. I would also like to mention that I have tried to update my system BIOS in hopes to find a new option enabling RAM remap. I have two ram types installed:

Yes I'm aware of the voltage but I don't think that that's the problem, thus I have tried to do a BIOS flash update which parly suceeded but now changed the model name of my computer and does not give me more options allowing me to potentially remap my RAM inorder to have all four sticks of four GB to work together and be 16 GB. It still says 8 in Windows Settings but CPU-Z shows a total of 16 GB with addtional information posted ABOVE.
