Acer Predator X34- G-sync isn't working

I've been using my Acer predator x34 for about 2 months now and G-sync just doesn't seem like it wants to work on most games I play. I have a 1080ti which can easily push the frames need at 100Hz. G-sync only works in Wolfenstien 2, every other game it doesn't. (Deus-Ex Mankind divided, Rainbow six siege, Fallout 4, AC origins, GTA 5, Call of duty WWII, Even the witcher 3 is seeing problems). I have clean installed the newest drivers and have setup G-sync multiple times in the Nvidia control panel. Please help! I love this monitor and the G-sync will be the icing on the cake if I get it to work right.

how do you know it isn't working?

I know it does work for me on witcher 3 and deus ex.

I have the refresh rate tracker on the top right hand corner and it just sits at 100 even when I’m at 70 FPS In game

Latest drivers? DP cable?

Nvidia control panel, performance settings, for each individual game you don't have a setting overriding the refresh type.
