"Acer Predator X34P" or "Alienware AW3418DW"?

The title says it. I need help in purchasing a monitor. The new Acer monitor is out and is also OC'd to 120Hz.

If I'm to choose one, which one is better? The only downside of choosing an Acer monitor is their quality control which is a bit concerning but let's put this aside for now.

Would love to see pros and cons of both monitors. Also, I found "Display Colors" of Acer to be 1.07 Billion while the Alienware 16.77 Million. Is this a big deal? Does the Acer monitor have better colors?

The Acer has few proper reviews on it yet, so I'd be reluctanct to go for that one. Preliminary reviews are positive which is a good sign but still, I wouldn't pull the trigger. About that 1.07 billion number, the Acer has an 8bit+FRC so if you do any work with color such as image editing, then it's useful but for gaming, i wouldn't use it as a dealmaker or dealbreaker. The Alienware, on the other hand, has a nice review from TFTCentral which I can use as a good baseline to recommend it.

None of the connections on that monitor have enough bandwidth for 120 Hz and 10 bpc color at the same time at that resolution, so I doubt you'll see any actual use from the 10 bpc color feature.

Alienware has, subjectively, a more elegant, nicer look. The panel IS nice and has received good reviews. You can't go wrong with the Alienware, not sure about the Predator.
