Acer Predator XB270 compatible with Rampage Extreme IV

Just trying to get a definitive answer here. Pretty new to this stuff still.
I have ordered the new Acer predator XB270 monitor, which only input is a displayport 1.2, I've only ever used DVI and looking around it was hard to tell for myself if y motherboard supported it or I need some sort of adaptor.

I have the Rampage Extreme IV and I just want to make certain the monitor will work with it and where the displayport is on it if it has one and if not, what adapter would I need in order to make it work.

you plug the monitor to the graphics card not the motherboard

thanks for taking the time to respond to such a novice question lol, I figured it would be something easy. So any new GPU will have this I'm guessing, nothing I need extra as far as adapters.

I really wanted to build a gaming PC a few years ago and by the end of the afternoon I had overshot what I wanted to spend a great deal. I had put a GTX 690 when I built it but a few days ago, I sold the GTX 690 and my current monitor (Asus VG 120hz 3d) to upgrade to the Acer predator and a Titan X.

I know how foolish it sounds asking such questions when spending so much on the hardware but I am really pretty good at the assembly of anything and would have had to figure it out but asking first, even if its simple, saves time and money.
