I can't decide between the two. The Z35 has high HZ (200 OC) and 2560X1080 res.but the X34 is (100 OC) 3440X1440 res.

I guess what I'm asking is if there is a noticeable difference between 100Hz and 200Hz obviously it's a big number between the two but are there diminishing returns after 100 or 144 Hz?

In other words which would you all pick between the two?

Solution
Get the Z35 if you want a higher refresh rate, or the x34 if you want the higher QHD resolution, which is my personal recommendation.
The z35 offers a higher refresh rate at 200Hz compared to the 100Hz of the x34. The z35 is an AMVA panel, meaning that it will have better blacks than IPS, but it will fall behind in the color department.
The x34 with its higher resolution offers a significantly better gaming experience due to the extra detail present in environments, and the great IPS colors it produces. Far and away the best out of the two in my opinion. It also sports a 10 bit color panel, which is SIGNIFICANTLY better looking than the 8 bit present on the Z35.

There will be a little difference between 200Hz and 100Hz, but not enough...
I would much rather have the higher resolution panel. 1080p stretched over that ultrawide would not be very enjoyable for me. Also IPS for much better colors. I think Acer is planning on releasing an update to the x34 later this year if you wanted to wait.

There will be a little difference between 200Hz and 100Hz, but not enough to warrant loss of resolution and color of the x34. Definitely worth the price.
Up for you to decide whether you want a higher resolution and better colors, or a faster refresh rate, although the choice seems pretty clear in my eyes! :)
