I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the correct spot. But I have an Acer aspire 5560 and today I turned it off and now every time I try and turn it back on it try's to start up, then goes to a screen saying "windows boot manager" status: 0xc00000e9
Info: an unexpected I/o error has occurred.

Then I press enter and it takes me to a screen saying "windows error recovery"
Launch startup repair
And start windows normally.

They both just take me to the first screen
Please help thank you

Hello Dale Weatherley

The problem might be related to accidentally mis-configured BIOS settings due to which your computer is unable to communicate with the hard disk drive.

You may want to go to the BIOS settings of your computer, and manually change the boot device settings to set the hard disk drive as the first boot device. Then save the changed settings and restart the PC normally.

Let me know if this helps.
