Acer reset issues

I went to reset my Acer laptop and it says installing windows..it says it will restart several times to sit back ad relax..it has been doing this for 24 hours and stays around the same percent..help!?

In spite of all the dire warnings not to turn off the machine, that is your only course of action. Just hold the power button in for eight seconds to kill it then turn it back on after a few seconds. As you weren't trying to retain any personal files you won't have lost anything except twenty four hours. Try it again and it may work properly.

It's possible the hard disk has a problem - could that possibly be the cause of your wish to reinstall?
