Acer TravelMate P215-53 hangs on ACER logo
Win 11. Laptop working perfectly for months until I loaded Photoshop Elements 9 from a USB DVD reader. Installation of Elements completed OK, asked for restart but now permanently hangs on ACER logo screen. F2, F12 entry to BIOS is OK, can export BIOS to USB stick, mouse works in BIOS, but can't get option for USB boot - only Windows boot is available even with secure boot disabled -most of BIOS options on Advanced are greyed out and non-selectable . Needless to say all the ACER diagnostics and start up repairs offered fail.
I have a full AOMEI system backup but it needs a USB boot option. Catch-22.
