Question ACER Veriton 7200D (1st build ever)

Jan 11, 2021
Hello everybody !

I am making this Thread because I thought this was an interesting build with an old tower & thought some others out there might be interested to see what can be done with old PC's & some dedication .

I started learning how to build & do software on computers over a week ago at home after work and on my days off. I got some old towers and parts. Some for free or decently cheap.
So far I have built 1 PC from the used parts i grabbed. First time ever and I am very proud of myself for being able to pull it off.

ACER Veriton 7200D (I removed all original parts) = $10
Gigabyte ga-h61m-s1 rev 2.2 = $30
Intel Core i3 3240 & CPU cooler = $20
MSI N260gtx GPU = $15
Kingston hyperx blu 4gb x2 1333 = $30
EVGA 600 watt power supply = $15
250gb Samsung EVO 850 SSD = $40
640gb Seagate HDD = $15
- Total Build cost = $175
Fully running with windows 10 home
I must say it is pretty quick for what it is.
All used parts.

Now I have another project in mind from parts I have, I will post another thread about it shortly !
(I don't understand how to post pictures on here so sorry for no photos of the build !)
