Acer Veriton X480G

Hope you're having a good day.
I am new to computer builds and upgrades.

I am currently running an:
Acer Veriton X480G
Intel Core2Duo E7550 @ 2.9 GHz
8GB DDR 1333
Windows 7 Pro
Nvidia GeForce G210 512mb HDMI & DVI
80+ PSU


I am looking to upgrade my CPU and with all the i3, i5 and more, I am clueless if it is compatible or not.

I am also looking into changing my Graphic card to support abit of Gaming for my son. He is playing Counter Strike : Global Offensive.

Nothing you can buy that is halfway recent (and decent) will be compatible with your build. Sorry. Especially none of the recent Intel Core series such as Core i3.

Unfortunately, that is the best alternative 🙁. If you need any help choosing a good PC for your son's games, we can help you out. Just give us a rough budget, what you need (The PC only, or any extra peripherals likes monitors, keyboards, etc. and also any software like windows, MS Office, etc.) and whether you are comfortable building your own PC (It isn't as hard as it sounds!) or if you would prefer a pre-built one.
