It seems this monitor is ONLY available at Newegg, but has great reviews. I was wondering if anyone can confirm it is indeed a "glossy" screen, like the HP w2207?

Based on specs, I've got to say this monitor has the best price/performance ratio. And if everyone else is sick of the stupid Samsung 226BW panel debate, this seems like a great choice. As soon as they offer free shipping, this baby's mine!

Yes I have, and it's the most beautiful monitor I've ever seen! I wouldn't hesitate to buy 20 of them if I needed to. Bar none, there is no better monitor out there for the price. No dead pixels, beautifully bright, glossy picture. Pure bliss :)

hey im thinking of buying this monitor and wonder if it is any good.
i would hate to waste money on this and newegg wouldnt be able to refund it, because they dont refund monitors unless they have 8 dead pixels. Is there any way u can take pictures of the monitor and plz post it here on the web site, i would like to see what it looks like.

I ordered one on Friday. I should be receiving it this week. I will try to post pics after it arrives. Although, I don't see any way to make an attachment.

hey u can send the pics to my email address. ask me for the address when u receive the monitor and take pics of the monitor. plz do that.

i would greatly appreciate it.

What type of pics are you looking for? There are a variety of nice pics on the Newegg.com site. Search for X222Wbd on the site to view the monitor.

yah i know, but u really cant tell what its going to look like, i want to see how big it is and how it looks next to a desk, ect.

can u please take pictures

I received the monitor yesterday. The picture is beautiful. Colors are vibrant and shades of gray are nicely contrasted. It was worth the $70 premium that I paid versus a standard 22" LCD monitor. I would choose it over the more expensive Samsung. I borrowed a new Dell 19" flat panel, model # 1908FP from work and compared it against the Acer. The Acer picture was far superior in my eyes. The only negative with the Acer is the stand. It is very basic and has no height adjustment; although most of the LCD monitors don't have height adjustment. Clonecommander, I accidently purged your e-mail address, so please resend it to me. I'll take some pictures of the monitor and send them to you this weekend.

bobby I am also interested in this monitor and would GREATLY appreciate it if you could send me the pictures of the monitor also...my email is:

mac_is_the_man@hotmail.com

thanks!

Anyone know where I can find one of these? Also, the other ACER monitors look pretty nice (especially for their price). Anyone had trouble with theirs yet?

Please I have this monitor in Europe for a 300 euros, send on my e-mail some real pics from a some digital camera and some little review. Thanks a lot...nvboza@gmail.com

I bought early and I guess I'm glad I did because I don't see Newegg selling this Monitor anymore (Is that good or bad). So far I have been very pleased with it. Like the reviews said on Newegg it is very bright! I have had to turn the brightness almost off. The screen quality is very good, but this is only meant to be use on 1680 x 1050 setting anything else either looks strange, or isn’t good quality. The Glossy screen does show reflections a lot but only on dark (pretty much) black screens. I'm not really getting much Black bleed I guess they call it. Maybe a little on the sides but nothing you ever notice in normal use.
My ONLY problem that I have is it seems like the bottom right quarter of the screen is a little brighter then the rest. I only noticed it on White Pages, it just seems like I’m getting blinded in my right eye more then the other. I have played with settings as much as possible and I’m able to live with it, but I was just wondering if anybody else is noticing this.

Also what are your settings on your monitor that you have found to be the best? For me
Cool
Contrast 50
Brightness 8ish
My Refresh Rate is at 60mhz? Is this normal. I have an older graphic Card (9700 Pro 128 MB) that I’m testing it out with before my build is completely. I know I’m maxing my card out because it has crashed a couple of times.
