ACFC. exe has stopped working

I recently build my new pc and restore all my steam games that i've backed up... all runs fine except the Assassin's Creed Freedom Cry standalone version....when i run the game, a dialog box appears says "ACFC. exe has stopped working" and exit the game... i've tried running as admin, compatibility mode,redownload the game, reinstall u-play,virus scan and still not working... as for drivers, it's all updated...

my previous pc: amd a8-6600k,gigabyte g1 sniper, corsair vengeance 8gbx2,hyperx savage 480gb,gtx 960 4gb,windows 7 ultimate 64-bit...

my new pc: intel i7-7700k,asus rog strix z270e gaming, g. skill tridentz rgb 8gbx2,gtx 960 4gb(from the old pc)...as for the os, i've installed windows 10 64- bit home in a brand new samsung 850 evo 250gb and clean wipe the 480gb,turned it into storage for steam only...

i've been looking for solutions for a week now and hopefully i can find it here, thank you...

a couple of things i've found that people have reported to work:
apply optimised settings in geforce experience
disable shadowplay

have you tried those yet?

i know you've tried a driver update, but have you tried a DDU driver wipe and re-install?

again if you haven;t already tried this one, it would make sense if it was trying to use the onboard GPU

i thought AC was installed on your other drive?

It was before but i had suggestion to reinstall it with the same drive with OS but it doesn't work... so, now all of my games are in the 480gb except this one
