[SOLVED] ACME USB optical mouse doesn't work?

So I bought an Acme Optical Mouse, I tried plugging it in every usb port and all, but the thing won't connect at all! The laptop doesn't recognize it being plugged in (I checked with an old barely functional mouse but it does recognize that). It's not lighting up, it's not recognizing it at all. The back of the box says it should work for windows 10 the website stops at windows 8. Is it the drivers or is it something else? I am currently trying to update any USB drivers on my laptop, but all of them are either the newest as is, or windows gives me "This is the best driver for your configuration" thrown right at me. I am not tech savvy at all, so if you could explain it in simpler lamence terms, I would be greatful! Thank you in advance!

One Acme mouse ?? That sounds like something from Road Runner, probably bad mouse.
