ACPI-APIC on NF7-S?

I keep hearing conflicting opinions on running either or both of the above
features w/ an NF7-S.

I didn't use ACPI on my KT7-A and it didn't have APIC available.

My thought is still to have both disabled on my NF7-S -XP Pro installation
and set HAL for "standard PC".

Opinions anyone?

I've got both enable on winxp and win2k - never had a problem. good luck
