ACPI BIOS ERROR After a bios update

Hello!

Yesterday I wanted to update my BIOS because my SSD was a bit slow and I read that I can fix it by updating the BIOS.

I've downloaded the latest BIOS version for my motherboard(ASUS PRIME b350 PLUS).
Loaded it to a USB Drive and updated it as I seen in many guides.
The update had no errors or anything.
Now, when booting, I see the ASUS logo first for a few sec and then the windows logo with a loading circle then it gives me the BSOD saying ACPI BIOS ERROR.

I've tried to use different BIOS versions and it still occurs.
I also tried to use a Bootable USB Drive with windows 10 on it to format/install Windows but I get the same BSOD when its trying to boot it.

I really don't know what to do and I would really appreciate your help.

Motherboard : asus prime b350 plus
os : windows 10

if you need more details please tell me.

Thank you.

Solution
I found a solution.
Apparently, the latest BIOS update that Asus released was caused the problem.
After searching for a while I found that some people suggested that you should downgrade your BIOS to 1002.
Then I looked for a guide how to downgrade your BIOS and found this amazing detailed tutorial that go through all the process and even contains the files and software needed for the procedure.

After doing this everything is fine and working well and nothing was deleted or anything.

Thank you guys for the help!
Nothing wrong with the BIOS if you can get so far in to the boot process. It seems likely that the ACPI settings in BIOS were altered in such a way, that Microsoft is having trouble with it.
Try finding ACPI settings and trying different parameters, to see if you can't get a boot. The same can happen with ACHI.

First , thank you for your answer.

I cant find anything related to ACPI in the BIOS, do you know maybe where can I find it ?

there is the ACHI option where you can change it to RAID ( I have no idea what is ACHI or RAID)

It relates to power management features. http://www.pearsonitcertification.com/articles/article.aspx?p=2024310&seqNum=21

Look for power settings. Don't change the ACHI options.

I have never observed ACPI causing BSODs for windows before though, I guess there's a first for everything. Maybe it's having trouble resuming from sleep state due to changed BIOS settings for allowed sleep states, I guess that could be it.

Hey thanks, Could you be a little more specific on what exactly should I do ?

Glad you got it working. You said you'd already tried a downgrade, so I didn't think to re-suggest it.

I thought I was downgrading when I used EZ Flash with an older BIOS version, apparently I was stupid and didn't realize its not working this way.
Then my brain came back and showed me the way.

Thank you very much for the help man!
