Acronis won't clone my HDD to my new SSD

I recently bought a Crucial MX100 256GB SSD and it came with Acronis True Image HD 2014. I used many tools before it (Clonezilla, Easeus, Reflect) and none of them worked. I then tried Acronis and it couldn't clone either.

I defragged the disk and still nothing. I do have enough space on the SSD for the data on the HDD.

Basically, every software i try to clone with ends up with an error.

Solution

Well - it clearly thinks you have file system corruption in there .. so unless anyone else can chip in with a better idea - I think a clean install on the SSD would be the way to go (and prob best anyway).
It does look like your current HDD is bad in some way.. if it was just one tool.. I might say the tool was in error.. but since all the tools you try fail
it makes me think the drive is corrupted in some way.. so a reformat (once you got your...
what kind of error? and if all of these tools are failing.. may be it points to something specific about your set up..
encryption or ... <something>

So lets start with "whats the error you getting form Acronis (and th eother tools you tried)"
and what is the setup of the drive you trying to clone?

Cheers

I went to the logs for Acronis and it said "Block bitmap corrupted".

For Reflect it said something about Cannot Verify File.

And by setup do you mean format? The format of the HDD and SSD is NTFS.

Looks like the tools think your current HDD is bad..
Whats is the SMART status of the drive? it may appear "stable".. but that's not the same thing as it being "good"..
Do diagnostics on current drive.. (see mbarnes86 post) or try Seagate tools
When I asking about current drive.. I just looking for confirmation it a basic NTFS drive.. no encryption on.. or dual boot or anything out of the norm.. but it looks like the tools think your drive is bad

Do the tests and see what they say.
Cheers

I've ran SeaTools and it was fine. Crystal Disk also says the HDD is good.

Here is one of the error reports from Acronis (they are all the same):

Should I just format my HDD and reinstall windows on the SSD?

Thanks for all the help so far!

Well - it clearly thinks you have file system corruption in there .. so unless anyone else can chip in with a better idea - I think a clean install on the SSD would be the way to go (and prob best anyway).
It does look like your current HDD is bad in some way.. if it was just one tool.. I might say the tool was in error.. but since all the tools you try fail
it makes me think the drive is corrupted in some way.. so a reformat (once you got your key data off) might clear it up.
Have you tried the windows chkdsk utility? see if that can repair it? may be worth a try.. but to be honest.. if you comfortable doing a clean install
its prob a good thing to do anyway.

Good luck
Cheers

Solution
So to do a clean install, i have to boot into the Windows OEM Disc (I ordered this PC from Cyberpower), choose upgrade, format the HDD, install windows onto the SSD and then type in the OEM product key. Right?
