Acrylic Layer on Login Screen

How do you disable the Acrylic Layer on the Login Screen. I have disabled the Transparent Effects in Settings and two places in the Registry, but my login screen still turns translucent with the background all blurry. I took some time choosing a login screen that I liked. I'd like to see it.

Okay, I'll answer my own question. I was getting pre-release versions. When I went to the RTM version, the annoying overlay went away. I probably should have given a more detailed description of the problem. This case is closed...
