Act fast and grab a Nintendo Switch 2 from Walmart or Best Buy before they are gone

That's a steep price to pay to lease a console with only 2 new games.

Note the choice of the word lease there. Nintendo has made it clear that you don't own the Switch 2. They can remotely disable it whenever they want. The whole situation with used games causing consoles to be banned from Nintendo services is absolutely unreal in a society that protects secondhand sales.

This is pretty much the current situation. Expect the banhammer if you even dare to buy used games for this console.

Too many negatives to buy now. Dock doesn't support VRR, main display has such a high latency that VRR is essentially useless...poor controller quality (even in the supposed "pro" controller, which costs an eye watering $85!), poor battery life, overheating, batter swelling (!), incompatibility issues with many games...I could go on and on here. Not to mention the abusive, anti-consumer and likely ILLEGAL EULA which lets them brick the system YOU PAID FOR.

NO ONE in their right mind should buy this console. Even die hard fans. At the MINIMUM, you should wait for revised hardware. This console is a dumpster fire of EPIC proportions.

Hard Pass.
Agree with points above.
I loved Nintendo when I was a kid in the 80’s and 90’s but Nintendo is a shadow of what it once was.

Just bought it. Saved me a fifth trip to the local GameStop or Best Buy on foot to check for stock in person in this heat. Target’s been out-of-stock since day one.
