Activating windows 10 after motherboard change

I recently changed my motherboard and cpu. After booting my PC after that, my windows 10 worked for a day and then it suddenly wanted a product key. I did everything that microsofts official website told, but still couldn't get it back working. Is there anything I can do or do I really need to buy a new key?

Email when you purchased the key should contain it. Or if you linked it to a Microsoft Account .

I remember that it was linked to my microsoft account. And also I don't have an email about it because my windows came with a prebuilt PC.

If it's prebuilt license then you need to call Microsoft to see if they will activate it for you. Sometimes they will but not always.
