Activation failed for windows device dosent have a legitimate entitlement?

So I just built my new pc yesterday and got the drivers today im using my old hdd from my previous premade pc that had a legitimate copy ov windows 7 which was upgraded to windoes 10 a long time ago and no problems. After building my new pc and installing drivers it tells me my device dosent have a legitimate product key or entitlement windows website isn't helping.

Windows links the license to the motherboard.

You need to call Microsoft and have them deactivate the old license so you can use on the new computer.

You need to actually call MS and explain the situation. They may or may not authorize that OS on new hardware.
