Activation problem

Hello,
i have had my iqon pc for 4 years windows 7 was already instaled. then 2 days ago there is a mesage this copy of windows is not genuine the only updates put on are automatic

Windows 7 has only been out since oct 22 2009!you couldn't have had it for 4 years!

If this was a key from an auction site like ebay it is not valid and microsoft will not help you!

Microsoft has sent a few updates that check for legitimate key codes recently and disables the activation if it is found to be a pirated\duplicated code - so if you have automatic updates turned on and the key was not actually a legitimate code you'll need to contact MS and fill out a piracy report if the system was sold with a pirated copy installed (and will probably need to buy a legitimate code in order to reactivate your OS !)
