Active or passive VGA to Displayport converter for multiple monitors?

I have a GTX 1060 which has 1 HDMI 3 Displayport, and a DVI D port. I was planning to set a dual monitor, they are different sizes and uses VGA cable. I've already set up the main monitor by using VGA to HDMI converter and it works fine, but if I want to set a second monitor should I consider the difference between active and passive converter? Because most of them are for HDMI to Displayport, in this case I need VGA to Displayport.

So should I get the cheap converter or the more expensive one?

All DisplayPort to VGA adapters are active.
