My windows 10 system refuses to ACTUALLY install the driver for my Brother MFC-J6539DW printer. The self-extracting file works, and the software appears to install, but the system insists on using the generic driver.
I know how to point to the proper driver--but I don't know where to locate and what the file name is. The self extractor does NOT give an option to "extract to" and does NOT show were it extracts the .inf file to. If I know what it's called or I could point to it manually. Does anyone know the name for this file and where that extractor extracts to for Windows 10? The extractor file is: Y16B_C1_ULWT_PP-usa-B1
