Aczanny, Insectoids and public spaceports

Just this turn a nice civilian shuttle with some insectoid families
landed at one of my public spaceports, were motioned through by the
spaceport officials, and happily began eating my colonists...

Hey, I thought this bug was fixed? No random insectoid seed production
by psp's for UEA and Aczanny!

I thought PSP's only attracted natives when there was already at least
one native of the same type on the planet. Am I totally wrong or has
there been a change in the host?

Lord Owl: Maybe you should sack your airport security.

At least no one dropped a pod with bugs onto that base - you might have
ended up with more bugs, aehm, I mean insects.

And I thought and still think that it got only changed for the UEA.
And no that is no bug - only I think for the UEA it would be a bug, but
then it is quiet normal to call an insectoid a bug.

What is new in Host.exe Version 4.000.123

New: Public space ports belonging to Enforcers no longer attract
insectoids

This was never applied to the Aczanny (at least not in the Host change
reports). I don't know why.

Maybe the no-Insects rule wasn't added to the PSP code for
Aczanny-owned PSPs because PSPs are native base structures for
Enforcers and not for Aczanny?

Howdy,

Yes playing the Com in another game and I noticed my HW did attract
some
Amorphs through its PSP, only 1047 around turn 10, no more since, but
there was none to start with either. On the planet or the base.

Cheers.

What is new in Host.exe Version 4.000.176

New: Aczanny ground combat units and troops now protect colonists from
insectoid attacks.

So if you have !enough! Troops and Ground Units there should be no
casualties.
GU#1 kills 800 Insectiod
GU#2 kills 1250 Insectiod
Troops is nowere stated and I have not simmed it yet. When it is the same
ratio ar UEA you need 1 Troop for 1 Bug.
As you did not mention anything about the numbers of Personals and Mechs you
had present at the base one an hardly say if it´s a bug. But I do think you
need enough power to kill the Insectoids instandly to prevent further damage
to your base.

Greetings
Sebastian

Hello Peter,

I E-mailed Tim about this before. He said it was fixed. Send him a
reminder E-mail, if you would.

Take care,

Mike
