Adaptec controller RAM non-ECC?

All the competitors explicitly state they use ECC RAM -- for obvious reasons, or not?

Is the RAM Adaptec uses ECC? On some rare data sheets for some models, it says yes, but it's not explicit. I wonder what would happen with faulty data in RAM on a controller. Can the file system detect and correct single-bit errors?

Are there complete data sheets on the Adaptec controllers somewhere, that state whether the RAM is ECC or not?

I mean all the professional cards: Series 3, 5, 5Z, 6.

Each of the specs says nothing about ECC. Just "xyz MB DDR2". True, I didn't click on every model, but you get the idea.
