Adaptec SCSI Card 29160 & Windows 7 alternate driver

Is there any alternative driver for the Adaptec SCSI Card 29160 for Windows 7 64bit version?

Adaptec has anounced that they will not release a 64 bit version for this card.

I was unable to get Win7 / 64 to recognize my Adaptec 19160 controller. My ASUS P5Q board allows me to configure the SCSI controller during boot, but cannot find the hard drive. SCSI may be restricted to older motherboards like the P4P800.
