Adapter and gtx 1060

So i already have Vga monitor SAMSUNG S22B150
I bought gtx 1060.

2. Will adapters decrease performance of my gpu ?

1. I recommend you use a displayport to vga adapter as these are usually better and I've had mixed results with hdmi to vga.

2. Adapters won't affect performance.

Yeah that one is fine. The hdmi to vga adpaters usually put some input lag on the signal due to the active conversion. Displayport is a standard that can adapt to any connector without lag.
