Question Adapter for Intel WiFi Link 5100

Hey, I have a Intel WiFi Link 5100 Laptop internal WiFi card that i removed from an old laptop. I want to use that on my Desktop.If it is possible how can i do it?
Is there an special adapter needed? and what is the name of the slot?

something like this would allow you to use it as a usb adapter. i don't see any internal adapters but they may exist if you look for it.
