Need a powered ATA/IDE male (HD is female)adapter to USB for an old Travelstar (Hitach) HD from a Toshiba Satellite laptop. Appears to have 22 contacts plus 4 pins to one side. Trying to retrieve files from HD on XP machine that won't boot due to config.sys file being corrupted. I have recovery disk but must get files off before reformatting. I must have an XP machine because my Autocad won't run on Win 10. Can anyone point me to a source for such an adapter - I figure it's cheaper to buy the adapter than pay someone $60 to retrieve files. Thanks!!
