Adapters for 21:9 1080p monitor

Currently I'm looking to purchase this 21:9 1080p monitor:

However I am unsure of what adapters I will need. My Radeon 7850 has 2 mini display ports and a display port, a HDMI 1.3~ port (which I'm not sure works with a 21:9 1080p monitor) and a DVI port.

Your GPU has a HDMI port so there is no need for an adapter. The HDMI port will work without any issues with that monitor. 21:9 is not a problem for HDMI.

On AMD page you linked it states: HDMI - Maximum resolution: 4096x2160 @ 30 Hz

So that is way above what your monitor can produce.

So that is way above what your monitor can produce.

But, first test your GPU and monitor with an HDMI cable without an adapter. That 30hz is for the resolution stated. At 2560x1080 your GPU might output at 60hz and an adapter would be unnecessary.

EDIT: First link was for an adapter capped at 1080p. Fixed it, the above adapter will work without any issues. I am using something very similar to connect from onboard display ports for some workstation machines onto 1080p monitors that have HDMI/VGA only.
