Adaptive Brightness Issue

Got a frustrating problem with Win10 adaptive brightness. I have a custom built rig and had solved this problem before but can't remember what I did. I'm using a Samsung tv for a monitor so I don't think there's a light sensor making it go darker like a laptop would.

Here's the rundown:

1. I already have the adaptive brightness turned off (does not work at all)
2. Tried the update driver as well as selecting the driver form win 10
3 I have no brightness sloder/control anywhere

When I unplug the monitor or change the display type within the monitor itself it gets bright for a minute then it gets darker again.

Can't seem too find the anser. Most results I'm getting are for laptops.

Solution

Have you try changing the Energy Saving...

Have you try changing the Energy Saving function to low or Off on your TV.
The Eco Sensor and Energy Saving functions automatically adjust the brightness of the TV to reduce power consumption.

So far that seems to have worked. I had reset the tv settings back to factory default and realized that it reset to the Eco on.
