I have a Ryzen 5 3600 and a Gigabyte Radeon rx 5700xt, i Would like to buy the VG27AQ from Asus because my GPu has freesync capability.

However, on the product info spec list, only adaptive sync and g sync is listed. Is this monitor worth the money i'll be spending on it, will it work?

So just to be very clear, this monitor does indeed have free sync and my GPU and monitor will work in conjunction perfectly?
And to be VERY, very clear you MUST use Displayport. Right?

Now I need to check that laptop to see if it has Displayport "out". I'm betting it doesn't, and a HDMI to Displayport cable will NOT allow the adaptive sync to work.

If your laptop has USBc video capable port, you can use that for native Displayport functionality.

Should start your own thread though.
