This motherboard supports both DDR2 and DDR3 memory. DDR2 and DDR3 cannot be mixed simultaneously. The above memory is compatible with your motherboard and it is sure to work unless the memory is an ECC memory.

I suppose you are using DDR2 memory right now, so remove any installed memory and just install the new memory alone. Please make sure that you are installing the memory in appropriate slot. Black slots are for - DDR3 and Blue slots are for - DDR2.
