Hello friends.

a year ago I bought adata's top of the line 1TB nvme drive model gammix s50.

I bought it through Amazon, which does not supply post-sale services. they told me to speak with the region of support center of ADATA. that was about 8 months ago.

I've sent them the drive as requested, got approval that it's accepted and "repaired" if that makes sense, I would guess they would send me a new one but hey its already a messed up ordeal, so what if I get a refurbished item as long as I get something working right?

each month I get an "update" that because of the coronavirus their EMS delivery service they work with cannot ship to, me, in Israel. I suggested to them:
1) send it by another carrier, They declined and said it is out of their scope of service.

2. I offered them to send another drive from a different branch, like the USA branch. nope, no chance.

I went as far as contacting a good friend of mine in Taiwan to send it to him, and he will send it to me but they must reimburse me the shipping costs...

again, nope, no chance.

so to summarize, ADATA got my money, about 200$, got my drive, and doesn't seem keen on actually returning to me. they literally robbed me.

I doubt they actually robbed you.
Keep them updated on this, and wait for EMS to start working again.

You can sue them for much more than the ssd if they never give you back your money, or ssd.

how then would you describe this situation where they refuse to ship it in any other way than their "ems service providers" for EIGHT MONTHS..

They have my drive, they have my money, and they seem to give so little ****
