Adata SSD Compatibility

Solution
It's a SATA3 drive, so totally compatible - it would connect up just like your existing HDD (assuming oyu have one)

While I agree in principal with @corroded (that a 120GB is pretty small) - it can be viable, you just have to be smart with where you store your applications/programs/large files etc. If your budget can stretch to a 240+GB, it would be a smarter idea and less hassle.

A Zotac 240GB option is ~$70

A Sandisk SSDPlus 240GB is ~$77...

I have a 120gb PNY XlR8 I've been using as a boot disk for some time now. However, recently My motherboard ^(rev.1) shorted out and i replaced it with Rev 2.x. Now the issue i'm running into is the ssd not being detected in bios. Neither the PNY or this ADATA; which i bought under the impression that my last board took out my pny.

While those are not going to be the 'best' SSDs i nthe world, they'd be comparable with the ADATA - and you'd get roughly double to SSD space for another $20.
