[SOLVED] Adata sx8200 running slow on Gigabyte Aero 15 XB laptop ?

Hello,
I bought a brand new Aero 15 XB laptop last week and purchased a 2nd NVME SSD to fit into the 2nd NVME slot on the motherboard.

Its a 1TB Adata sx8200 pro, and when I used CrystalDiskMark the speeds were disappointingly slow.

The read speeds @ 1400 MB/s were very poor. The write speeds @ 2400 MB/s seemed a bit more realistic (I dont expect it to give 100% advertised speed, but < 50% speed seems too slow).

In the BIOS, the Adata drive is recognized as NVME. I did a self test which passed but there wasn't much else to go by.

I installed CrystalDiskInfo and it suggests NVME x4 is active (i.e. PCIe 3.0 x4 | PCIe 3.0 x4)?

I also installed the ADATA utility and performed the TRIM command (Whatever that is) to no avail.

In ATTO disk benchmark, the read speeds basically flatline across the different packet sizes @ 1.2GB/s and the write speeds flatline @ 2.22GB/s.

Therefore it seems to me there is some kind of limit holding the disks back.

Its worth noting the default C:\ drive is much faster @ 2900 MB/s read and 2500 MB/s write.

Can anyone help me please?
