Question ADATA SX900 ssd "no media detected" sata usb cable

ADATA SX900 SSD displays as "no media detected" in disk manager. I'm using a powered SATA cable that works fine with my WD HDD. There is not the possiblity of formatting the disk because its not even showing up in disk manager, my pc, or any other way. The usb port is the same I use for all other devices and works fine

was it working before?
test it on another cable/port to make sure it is the issue

Thanks for replying, I've tried 2 different ports and sata cables. It was connected to my pc prior to this exercise
