I'm losing my mind with this one. Couple of days ago my adata ssd had just disappeared from my system. I tried rebooting multiple times, nothing. I tried uninstalling the SATA AHCI controllers, nothing. I swapped it around with my boot disk (samsung evo 250gb) and nothing. The a-data disk shows up in bios but not anywhere else. I am baffled with this one. Please help

Solution
It could be that it responds to the Identify Device command (which retrieves information from the firmware area) but then goes offline when the OS tries to read the data area. If so, then it would appear that the drive is faulty.
