Add 8 pin

Hi i have 500w psu with 1 connector 6 pin,my psu model is ZU 500.
I want to buy a gtx 1060 that requires 6pin and 8 pin connector but i just have 6 pin,can i add 8pin connector to my psu?

The results I got when I googled it shows that that psu isn't modular, if it was then you could plug in and use what you need. I suggest upgrading and getting a decent psu like the EVGA SuperNOVA G2 550W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply.....

ZU 500 so its likely either a TOPower or a Coolmax. I suggest replacing it asap.

I checked my connector it has dual 6 pin so 1 pin can add to 8pin is it? With molex or something i dont know
Yes i want to replace it but i need more money because i want to buy gtx 1060

Problem is your psu is a danger to other components. A new gpu isnt going to ge much good if your junk grade psu kills it along with the rest of the system.
