I have a Motorola SB6 52 currently, but I have dead spots in my house. I would like to use the Belkin N600 I had laying around. I've been searching around how to make this happen, and lots of trial and error with no success. Please help with great detail.

Thank you in advance.

Two choices, either set it up as an AP with an Ethernet connection to the main router (or a pair of good powerline adapters if a cable is impossible) -- the best choice by far, or check the dd-wrt database to see if your specific model will run dd-wrt v24 preSP2 so you can run it as a bridged mode.

But pay attention to their caution on Belkin: :WARNING: Always use TFTP to flash Belkin routers if at all possible! Upgrading dd-wrt from the web interface can lead to a bricked (nonfunctional) unit!"
