Add memory

hello! i have 6gb of ram in x58mobo..can i add another 2x2gb dual channel or i have to buy 3x2gb tripple chanel? thnx!

You can add the memory but it will cost you a little memory performance. I think running one slot empty will toggle your system into single channel mode.

so if i buy 2x2gb and 1x2gb will be fine? will it be like 3x2gb?
