Question Add RAM or replace?

Hi!
Right now I have 2x 4GB DDR3 Kingston hyperx 1333mhz CL9 RAM. I was thinking about either buying another pair of the same ram or replacing the old one completely with 2x 8GB DDR3 kingston 1600mhz CL10 RAM.
Adding more would be slight cheaper but price isn't that much of an issue so which would you recommend?
Also will changing from CL9 to CL10 cause any issues?

Mix and match RAM is always a gamble. There is no guarantee that the mixed batch will function at all. Always REPLACE RAM rather than attempting to add.

Alright, but is it mixin and matching if it's the exact same ram model? If I would add it would be the exact same I have right now

And just to clarify going from CL9 to CL10 won't cause issues? both are DDR3 ram and 240pins
