[SOLVED] Add RAM to laptop

Hey there,
I bought an MSI GE75 Raider that comes with 16GB but I'd like to upgrade to 32GB. Apparently, the laptop comes with one 16GB stick so I can just add another 16GB and that would be all.

The thing is, do I need to buy the exact same brand? I assume MSI uses MSI RAMs.. right?

Sometimes it works out fine other times they won't be compatible. Memory is best purchased in a matching pair.

One two last things:

• What would be the difference between this one and this one?
• What if the RAMs are soldered to the motherboard? I should watch a video of someone disassembling this machine just to confirm it.
