Currently, I can only manage to access wifi at one end of my house, the signal doesn't reach to my office at the other end of the house.

I have rigged up a PC to connect to my home network using Powerline adapters, i.e. ethernet LAN to my PC.

As I have a spare wireless card and antennae, I am wondering if it would be possible to install this into the PC at this end of the house and turn the PC that is connected to the LAN over powerline adapters into a wireless hotspot, therefore, allowing devices such as android phones or laptops to connect to the network at this end of the house.

I am windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, I do not want to install another router or wireless access point, any help greatly appreciated please.

I have used Connectify to do that when at a hotel.

Thanks kanewolf, I'd prefer not to purchase a package to do it, but it does explain the terminology for me, I guess I am looking to turn my PC into a virtual router.

Anyone aware of any freeware that can do it, or another solution using what comes with the OS?

There is a free version of Connectify.
