are you kidding, my middle name is UT.
man i play this game daily for like hours vs friends and bots.
but i cannot find anyone worthy to play with.from godlike bots to friends they all get their buts kikked when i 'm around.......are you guys good enough?or you just like to respawn a lot!!!!!!!!

UT is the top shooter in my book, like playing with the level designer too, once I've done a level I'm proud of I may actually let someone else see it.

Facing Worlds is top I play that level for ages.

yea, what servers do you guys play on. I want to see some good competition. I personally find myself playing on the DvNA server a lot.

I don't stay on any particular servers. I just look for a new game each time. We should host a large game for all of THG to join one night that'd be kinda cool.

i love UT, problem is, i dont have huge numbers of free hours available, and only a 56k modem, so my skill level at best is around "skilled" net games lag badly and everyone online is far too good.

what i do like are all the pretty mutators.... if you have some free time, try the following
1. Uwar mutator (with regenerate OFF)
2. kill 2 heal
3. mutator toolbox for fast item respawn
4. moregore (set to 10!)
5. fatboy
6. matrix moves
7. UT4ever (specially the nuker, freezer, BFG20K & the QSG!)

use these and u will see the most violent bloody excessive game ever.
P.S. ive also editied the .ini file so my favorite map CTF-FACE has 32 bots in it

with all these things running i get around 40fps. not bad, considering the level of death and destruction and the sheer number of things to render (body parts)

Nto me 🙁, Im from little old England lol, dam timezone, I used top play in a Q2 clan and everyone else was in USA, I ended up starting clan matches at like midnight or later as I'm around 5 hours or so behind!

I think us folks in good ol UK are actually 5 hrs ahead, hence 7pm + 5hrs = 12 midnight = wife in pi**ed off mode because I'm still playing UT and she wants to go to bed.

but hyperblast is optimal for,like 4-8 players, don't you think 16 is a little bit too much......don't get me wrong here, i am turning back but get me something more logical....

Orion's Barricade then, that's a decent map.

I took on 16 Inhuman bots and won 20-13 in Grit
16 Godlike bots are on the menu for tonight, don't know how I'll do, never gone against anything above Adept until last night. lol

16 godlike!! man that's one pretty handfull of determined bots we'r talking about here..i think i will try the same.
i guess computer bots aim so accuratly that sometimes it is really not logical.........quite different from human players. how can you kill a falling player from morpheus with the enforcer??????bots always do that..it just kills, oh wait it is really..lol

Yeup, it's easy to make good bots. The difference with UT is that they're so freaking smart, not just the 'one shot from across the map with the sniper rifle' type of bots that are the highest difficulty in some other games.

But are you scared of 16 godlike bots, Mr I'm So Good?
