Hi, I was wondering to put a gtx 1060 6gb which i have recently bought into an inspiron. I want to change the psu too. Will the corsair cs 450 fit in it and also can a gtx 1060 fit in it.

Solution
Neither will fit. The 3647 is a small form factor case which will only talk half height video cards and a specialized power supply from Dell. Luckily, the motherboard uses a standard ATX 24pin power connector so if you wanted to change the case too, you could, but at that point you might as well have built from scratch.

Hey Ecky I am thinking of turning it into a test bench kinda stuff so that it would have no issues; can you suggest a test bench case.
Or if any cases are possible to fit with it. I am also trying to change my motherboard if I would go with case but it is very hardship.

Hey I have the following :
Thermaltake Versa N21 : https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B013DYXG4Q/ref=ox_sc_act_title_7?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=AYAZOP86CGXY9
Gigabyte G1 Gaming gtx 1060 : https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B01JNUO6BG/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=AYAZOP86CGXY9
Corsair Vs450 : https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B00X8QBT6M/ref=ox_sc_act_title_8?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=AT95IG9ONZD7S
My old 4gbDDR3 RAM and Corsair Vengence 4gb: https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B004CRSM48/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3RBXHK5VHQNUA
But I wanted to ask that will the old motherboard fit in the thermaltake versa n21 coz the Gigabyte Ga H97M D3H doesnt have wifi and bluetooth but my old one has and the budget is also exceeding and will the motherboard be able to hold 1060 in the new case.
Plz Help

Hi, Ecky I am currently doing the same thing here exactly..Lol. I have a case, and a spare 1060 6gb, and the Dell inspirion 3647. So besides adding a PSU and some fans (plugged into the PSU) this should theoretically work yes? I posted this thread and someone said the Dell and Hp legacy BIOS has trouble with cards above gtx 7xx. Before I waste money on a new PSU it would be nice to get a second opinion.

Thanks
