This:

"I have the space in the case, "

That is not a reason to change fan configurations and/or replace fans.

Is there some specific problem? Temperatures?

Sorry, it probably is a stupid idea or reason. I want max air flow, max cooling possible. Maybe just my old mentality. My current Cosmos 2 has 9 fans in it and my temps are fantastic. So I wanted to I guess get ahead of the temperatures so to say lol. Wanted to maximize potential. :D

No - not stupid or unreasonable.

And fair to plan and think ahead.

Remember: "If it ain't broke - don't fix it".

Do as you do and monitor system temperatures.

Determine what, if anything, gets hot and how hot? A few degrees increase can be expected. Know the specs.

Read the applicable User Guides/Manuals for the motherboard along with the User Guides for all installed components. Pay attention to the fine print and all warnings.

Learn to monitor system performance: Task Manager, Resource Monitor, Process Explorer can all be used.

If temperatures become a problem then you are far more likely to have: 1) an idea what caused the increases, and 2) how to fix the problem.
