Adding a Comment to a File name

I'd like to add comments to file names. Is it Possible?

How do you mean? You can add metadata to files? If you want a comment in a filename it becomes a different filename.

I want to be able to include a brief comment in the file name without changing the filename. Is it possible?

I have never seen a way to do that, but it seems like a good idea.

you can do that on some extension, like word or excel spreadsheet.
right click and go to the detail tab.

What you really need to do that is a database file system, like the go old IBM AS/400 has. M$ once upon a time said to do that. The actual ntfs supports some of the features, but not the comments.
